Uttarakhand: Struggles and Sacrifices Behind Statehood [DO NOT IGNORE]

Recently, I came across posts where people from other states talked about what Uttarakhandis went through in the '90s. Many of us didn’t even know about it. This shows how little we know about the struggle to create our state. There’s a saying: 'जिस पेड़ की जड़ कमजोर होती है, वह आंधी में सबसे पहले गिरता है।' This is an effort to gather all the struggles our people endured, the battles they fought, and the lives they sacrificed to give us our home state, Uttarakhand, so we never unknowingly...

    This was surprisingly amazing [Tinku's]

Decided to go to the Tinku's near Mangal City as I was hungry coming back from work yesterday. Ordered this hot chocolate. This has been hands down the best chocolate I ever had. I have had hot chocolate at fancy cafés, I make pretty good hot chocolate at home also. I was surprised by how tasty this was. And this is very reasonably priced as well.

    Bangalore heals my mental health.

Dear Bangalore, thank you for being so frickin' amazing. I moved to this city about 10 years ago, and have called it home ever since. I've traveled to several countries and lived in many cities within India, but nothing comes to the *peace* I feel when I'm here. This present weather amplifies this feeling, and I'm writing my heart out here. I live on the outskirts of the city and work from home. Yeah, that's also the reason why I'm so happy (sorry, office-goers who have to face the...
