Considering Publicly Building a Stock Technical Analysis Tool I am considering publicly building a stock technical analysis tool. So for example you enter in a stock ticker like ZZFMG, and the tool will list its analysis i.e.: "Moving Average-Bullish crossover occurred as MA50 crossed above MA200 (Golden Cross), indicating an uptrend. MACD-Positive histogram and MACD above the signal line indicate strong bullish momentum. ....." If such a product was built, would it be very useful to you and how much would you be willing to pay in monthly subscription? 2 0 replies

6 and a half years ago, I prayed, "pls no, not today." Breakfast was biscuits from the top shelf because the basement kitchen was flooded and our cook couldn't commute. We had no electricity like the rest of Kerala, and the overhead tank was running dangerously low for the 50 of us in the building. We waded through the water to school with the principal who was also our warden to shift what was left of the lab equipment and CPUs to the library upstairs. I remember the feeble jokes we cracked to lighten the mood. "Watch out for snakes" one... 3 0 replies
Is it a fair to say that Indians face tremendous pressure from family when it comes to marriage? Ok I got into an argument and I wanted to know if my observations were relatively accurate or coming off as racist. I'm from the US. At my University's pre-med program a huge percentage of students were from India. During the time they were in the US, many of them developed relationships with Caucasians. Almost all of them were pressured by family to break off the relationships eventually and marry someone the family approved of. This lead to a lot of heartbreaks and eventually most Caucasian girls just started... 2 7 replies
Best way to create an archive/backup of my Apple Mail to the cloud In the light of the recent fires in L.A., I've been looking at ways to create off-site snapshots of important files. My email archive is definitely important. I have multiple email addresses on my Mac so that complicates things immediately. I've also organized the forty years of old email (yes, that's old stuff but I've saved myself a lot of grief being able to pull things up from way-back) into folders. Often folders within folders. So, while organized, it's complicated. I already have a time machine backup of everything... 3 0 replies
MBP and MBA running 15.3 -- Safari not syncing -- which MacBook has "priority / seniority" so to speak? I can create a note in the Notes app on the MBA and it shows up on the MBP and vice versa. But I can't create a folder and put bookmarks in the folder in the *Favorites* of Safari on the MBA and have it show up on the MBP, even though I have Safari to be synced via iCloud. I have tried toggling Sync to iCloud till I'm blue in the face. Both are running macOS 15.3; MBA is M3 and MBP is M4, though the hardware shouldn't... 2 0 replies

Are there any Indian movies that are an actual musical? I'm a westerner that watches a lot of Indian movies, and I've notice that despite how prevalent musical numbers are in Indian cinema, I've yet to see an Indian musical. In Western musicals, the musical numbers drive the story and used every time there is a strong emotional beat. But this rarely seems to the case in Indian movies. Most of the strong emotional beats in Indian movies are done through dialogue, and the only time musical numbers tend to be used for emotional moments are when it's for... 2 10 replies
If AAP wants to survive - they have to really develop Punjab In Punjab they have more power. They have to show what they can achieve that they weren’t able to do fully in Delhi because of LG. And use that narrative in other states to expand. I’m sure Center will try its best to punish Punjab in all ways possible and Congress will try to divide AAP. So let’s see - I for one am rooting for AAP to survive! 1 0 replies

why blackbaze personal plan is recommended? Honestly don't know why is so often recommended. I didn't like it. After installation it showed me that I have 8TB for backup and immediately started the process without asking anything. First of all, I don't have that much data, it must calculated capacity of the all the cloud drives, secondly, a backup of a running database or virtual machine is pointless. I am sure that restoring it won't work, besides, these are very large files like 100GB, that change frequently, so approach to the backup should be different.... 1 0 replies
