Last one month my diet is quite exclusively of millets specially pearl millet (సజ్జలు). And it feels great. It has a very distinct aroma and makes EVERYTHING taste much better than with rice - either pickles or dal or even curd rice. Here in Guntur and Tenali, I do come across few small outlets that serve చిరుధాన్యాలు - Dosa, Idly (రాగి ఇడ్లి),ఉప్మా, పులిహోర and జొన్నరొట్టెలు.
I also tried all of them (ఇడ్లీ,దోస,పులిహోర, ఉప్మా, పప్పు, పచ్చళ్ళు వగైరా వగైరా) and they are really good, tastes much better than with rice. But...
