What can we do to change India?

I really wish someone would revolutionize India. Starting with the education system. We still follow a colonial education system designed to make Indians the ideal slaves. If education is revolutionized, politics will also change. It won't be all about money and bribes. PEOPLE will change. Thanks to the centuries of British colonization, the average Indian citizen is super miserly and petty. If that mindset changes, India will change. But my question is what can we do as normal citizens?

From last one month I lost all the money I earned in a year. I want to sell all the equities of mine till USDINR goes above 90.

I am tired of watching daily loss of 2-3, percent in portfolio. I am thinking of selling all the portfolio for few days. Atleast let dollar touch 90INR. Then return.

I’ve built an automated feed to simplify finding developer job opportunities in India

**Why I made this:** I noticed that many developer job opportunities get shared through LinkedIn posts but often get buried in the feed, making them hard to find. These posts sometimes offer unique opportunities like direct connections with the hiring team, insider referrals, or even bypassing the standard application process. **How it works:** The tool filters public LinkedIn posts related to developer job openings. It skips LinkedIn’s formal job listings and instead pulls posts shared by actual people (recruiters, employees, etc.) including: ✅ Internships ✅ Fresher SDE roles ✅...

Is this city safe enough for a woman to live alone?

I (24F) have recently joined the workforce and am really looking forward to living alone. My office is in the heart of Bangalore (MG Road) and was looking for a 1BHK in the surrounding areas. I know it’ll be expensive but I’m willing to make that sacrifice for some independence. However, I keep hearing from my friends and family about how a woman living alone isn’t ideal because of the problems of safety in this city- so I’m not very sure of this decision now. And especially for women...

Indian government should start punishing the dehati tourists with travel bans and other non jailable punishments

Around 10 years ago, the word " Chinese tourists" were almost a meme material because these newly rich Chinese who had servants and sweepers at home travelled across USA and Europe and behaved badly by publicly urinating, trashing public places, talking loudly , not following the queues etc .. So CCP took the initiatives and started " educational classes" on the dos and don'ts and slowly the stereotype disappeared. I know on the background they must have punished those who broke the rules. In india , those educational classes...
