Haridwar + Rishikesh suggestions :)

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year! :) I’ll be traveling to Dehradun this month with 2–3 pieces of luggage. My train arrives at Haridwar on the 14th, and I’ll head to Rishikesh for the evening aarti before continuing to Dehradun. Is there a safe place to store my luggage for a few hours in Haridwar (other than hotels)? I’ll have valuables like my laptop, so reliability is important. Or should I just book a hotel for 3–4 hours to keep my bags? Also I have to be in Dehradun post evening as I have to travel to Sirmaur the very next morning. Is k liye if any one of you can guide, appreciate it. :) Thanks for your help!
