I found a furnished 1RK (180 sqft) in Kisan Nagar 2, Rd No. 16. The owner is quoting ₹9K rent + ₹35K deposit. I’m considering it, but is this a fair deal? How’s the locality and commute from there? Why We’re Struggling to Find a Place: Most options in our budget are deep inside cramped lanes—dark, dirty, and hard to access. My father and I need something road-facing or something with proper entry for safety and convenience. Unfurnished/semi-furnished is fine if the location is good. Our Budget: Rent: ₹10K–₹12K max (stretched due to market conditions). Deposit: ₹30K–₹40K (already pushing the limit). Preferred Locations: Near Mulund/Thane Station Mulund Check Naka, R Mall, Wagle Estate, Nirmal Lifestyle, LBS Road This is really urgent—I just want a decent, safe home for my father and me without getting stuck in a bad deal.
