IndMoney charges for US stock investing

I am planning to invest in US mutual funds and stocks using IndMoney. I want to know how affordable is their exchange rate and what are the taxes levied on buy-sell transactions by Indian authorities. Also, is IndMoney a good app or are there better alternatives available?
