I have 10k to invest

I am 20YO opened a new pancard for my brother who just turned 18 few days ago I have 10k to invest in mutual funds So is it better to invest in 10 different funds 1k each for bluechip or long term or only 2 funds major investment? Investment I will do is in best funds only -- lumpsump
