Guys This Isn't COVID It's A Different Kind of Market Despair
This slow market crash… it's just not like COVID. That was a shock, a sudden drop, but we knew *why*. And it bounced back quickly. This… this is different. It's been dragging on, this slow, agonizing decline. The rupee's been weak for ages not a new thing and yeah, we've had tough times before, but nothing like this. It feels like we're all just guessing, clutching at straws, trying to make sense of something that doesn't. Every time you think, "Okay, maybe it's turning around," it just falls again, harder. We're all scared, I think, terrified of missing the bottom, of losing everything. It's so unpredictable, so… cruel. and we question why is this happening? Those FIIs, they're pulling out, taking their money somewhere else. What do they know that we don't? It's terrifying to think about, no? They surely know what they are doing and not in our eyes And the system… it feels like it's designed against us. They make it hard to trade, they make it hard to save, they make it hard to even dream of a better life. They impose all these regulations on us, making it clear this country isn't designed for traders. The housing market is a joke. It's for the rich, not for us. We're stuck, working our fingers to the bone, just to pay rent just to survive. What about our dreams? What about our families? The government… it feels like they don't care. We're just numbers, cogs in a machine. And those at the top, they're getting richer, while we're left with nothing. It's this pyramid scheme we call democracy, and we're at the very bottom. Uneducated local politicians are ruling over us, enjoying the black money from generations making sure real estate prices skyrocket, never coming down, while the middle class struggles their whole lives for a single roof over their heads. We study, we get qualified, we do everything we can to serve the rich and the government, and they just keep piling on the restrictions, making sure we don't trade no crypto no forex, or diversify which was what we were left with while they happily allow gambling and enjoy the taxes. It's heartbreaking, really. To see so many people struggling, working so hard, just to barely get by. And if we want to try something different, to invest somewhere else, they make that hard too. It feels like we're trapped. Trapped in a system that doesn't care about us, trapped in a country that doesn't seem to want us to succeed. I know it's not perfect anywhere, but… it has to be better than this, doesn't it? It just has to be1
