Google Profile question

I recently purchased and existing retail business, it’s a design center for interior renovation. The name will change. They currently have only 12 reviews with a 4.2 rating Should I attempt to keep the profile (will have to transfer ownership and change name (is that difficult?))) Or start over? Not sure if length of profile helps with SEO?
