What are the chances disavow tool killed one of my sites?

I have a blog that was having traffic problems late 2023 around the HCU update. I chalked it up to the update and having low-quality content, so spent a good deal of time rewriting and restructuring. Since my focus has been on another blog I haven't spent much time on it but recently realized I disavowed about \~650 toxic links \~10 months ago, out of a total of 2.5k total backlinks. Looking back I also realized it was around the time I started using SEMRush and didn't have a lot of experience at the tool prior to training. Is it possible I tanked my blog? The traffic went down to 0-1 (why does google do this?) around that time. There aren't a lot of high AS or quality backlinks in general, but I can't help but think this is what took me from 10s-100s of impressions down to 0 and sometimes 1. Any ideas?
