We A/B Tested AI vs Human Content for 3 Months for SEO

Hi all- the debate about if Google Penalizes AI has been perpetual and I often find contradictory answers from the so the "SEO experts". So we decided to take matters to our own hands and actually A/B test content. So as a first step, we got one of our Shopify clients to agree to be part of the experiment. We choose a fairly good account, a domain that has been publishing blogs every week for the last 2 years with fairly good brand and domain authority. The client already had some old blogs as #1 result for certain keywords. At this point, we setup AI to auto publish a blog every week on their Shopify store. On top of this, we kept publishing a new blog every week that was manually written. And there are the results at the end of 3 months: **AI Blogs** * Total unique views from Google: 1176 * Number of blogs ranking on first page of Google for certain keywords: 3 **Manually Written Blogs** * Total unique views from Google: 1206 * Number of blogs ranking on first page of Google for certain keywords: 4 **Conclusion** Even though manually written blogs, slightly outperformed manually written blogs, we did not find a major difference between two at all. It doesn't seem like Google cares about how the blogs are created at all just like they officially claim. The slight diff between both in this study is probably not statistically significant.
