Simple step-by-step process for a relative Newbie to set up on a new site for analytics and SEO?

Hi All, I have just set up a website and understand the basics of SEO and analytics, but feel like I'm struggling with the initial building blocks upon set up, as there seems to be so much to cover and for some SEO plugins and things, I am running into paywalls. The abundance of things to do/options, such as SEO tools, Wordpress SEO plugins, Google Search Console, Analytics, Google G4U, SemRush etc. Is there a guide in a few sentences or could someone detail out a simple sentence by sentence guide at how they would set up a new site for the best position in terms of SEO and Analytics. IE. 1. Set up website. 2. Sign up for google analytics 3. Sign up for google search console 4. Pair these account 5. Install X SEO Plugin 6. etc What are the best plugins for both analytics and SEO, do you need plugins? Whats the best platforms to monitor these aspects? Apologies for the basic question, when I look for things related to SEO and analytics, its all individual and more indepth in terms of what can be done, not just this initial starting point. I Ideally want the 'perfect' base, to then work off from. Thank you.
