Business Name Issue in SERP Finally Solved?

Just wanted to let you guys know, as there have been numerous conflicting posts about this.. My website/business name, above the URL in the SERP (right at the top), has finally updated this morning to reflect my actual business name, and not the URL. It has nothing to do with implementing schema, at least for me. Google updated it on their side. The only (different) thing I've done recently was update/change a major background image on my homepage, ensuring the filename contains my business name. The image also clearly represents my business, the previous image didn't (previously had a stock photo with irrelevant filename). Of course, this is just a theory! It could possibly be something else. But really curious if someone else could test this out and post their results below.
