Holi Scene in Pushkar Hey Folks, so me and my friend are planning a trip from Jodhpur to Pushkar 13 -16 March. The Prices for 13 and 14 is crazy expensive. for a 400rs dorm bed people are charging 5K per night. Any recommendations for cheaper accomodations? Because we want our trip expense under 5K per person. Also we would love to meet new people. even if we dont have a place to stay in our usual moustache hostel, you'll find us there. :) 2 0 replies

It has well preserved forts & palaces, and man what palaces, just grandeur you get lost into, truly royal. What a culture , the food❤️, the music, the laheja, the colors!Jaipur and Udaipur are very well developed cities with good mixture of old and new. Beautiful, just beautiful. You have grand history, and wonderful place. 5 0 replies
Looks like informed and aware people of Rajasthan are not in this sub or on reddit. The current state government has released the budget and nobody is discussing it here. Or maybe most of Rajasthani are ignorant and care only about dal-bati/forts/costumes/weddings/caste/religion/deities Edit: I forgot to add superstition/romanticising patriarchy/ caste-class discrimination 4 6 replies
