What has happened to this city?

Just a short rant again. I was crossing the road to get to my gym, there was a short traffic jam in front of my house, nothing unusual. I see a man in his fifties on a scooty speeding on the footpath, honking unnecessarily and giving me looks, I lost it. I shouted at him and blocked the footpath, seeing this he fled the path and the scooters who were gonna use the footpath quickly went down. When I did this a guy in his car gave me a thumbs up. The reason I’m pissed off is because a lady was walking with her kid who looked no more than 5. I used to feel bad about the hate our people got online, but observing how we behave in public and how little we care for others life, I sadly believe it’s justified. It was only a 2 minute jam and everyone constantly kept honking and used the footpaths. Hopefully one day this mentality changes, also lost any hopes I had for this country.
