Siali craft of mankirdia tribe ************************** Mankirdias is one of the PVTG (PRIMARILY VULNERABLE TRIBAL GROUP ) of Odisha, who are semi nomadic in nature. Mankirdias make their huts using leafs which are called kumbha. They are skilled in catching monkeys and making siali fibres crafts. They move from place to place in different groups for collecting siali fibers. The bark of the siali creepers is the main forest produce which they collect . Their subsistence and livelihood depend on these crafts .
