Got a challan for overspeeding by just 1 kmph—can I complain?
Hello everyone, I recently received a challan for overspeeding while driving at 46 kmph in an area with a speed limit of 45 kmph. I feel this is unfair, as the difference is just 1 kmph, which could easily be due to minor speedometer or radar inaccuracies. I would like to know: 1. Can I file a complaint or appeal this challan? If yes, where and how? 2. Are there specific rules or tolerances for such minor speed differences in traffic law?2
