    Looking for Tandoor Paratha

On a recent visit to UP and Uttarakhand, I discovered that parathas are made in tandoors instead of on a tawa. The smoky flavor and crisp texture were amazing! Does anyone know if we can find tandoori parathas anywhere in Mumbai?

    Is moving on this tough?

I don’t know if what I’m feeling means I haven’t moved on from my past. I was in a relationship for three years, and for me, it was nothing short of heaven. Every moment spent with my partner was filled with love and joy. But then, in the last six months of the relationship, out of nowhere, we started fighting. I live in South Bombay, and she lives in Andheri. I have a job, and she doesn’t, but even though I was busy, whenever I got the chance, I...

    Vending machines in Mumbai

I have a question for you guys regarding your views on vending machines. Do students in hostels or Corporate offices prefer using 10 min delivery and paying extra or would they prefer a vending machine that sells some snacks without delivery fees? This question was asked 2 years ago, but now that times have changed, do you think vending machines would be a failing business in mumbai now?

Sketches I made for the ‘Walking Project India’ org., highlighting walkability guidelines of Mumbai

A series of sketches I was commissioned to create for a wonderful organisation called ‘The Walking Project’, to highlight standards and issues of walkability in Mumbai, and work on improving it. In order to communicate and create awareness amongst citizens, it’s important to showcase data in fun, artistic ways, which was the intent behind this project. Such a fun output!

Hey everyone! My best friend’s birthday is coming up, and I need help planning a full day out in Mumbai/Thane. We’re a group of four and want a cozy, fun, and memorable experience. Looking for recommendations on restaurants, rooftop spots, cafes, or any place with great ambiance and views but no adventure activities pls. I’d love suggestions to plan the entire day, from breakfast to dinner, including good places to visit, chill spots, or any unique experiences to make it special for her. Budget is flexible.

Are there any love stories which started in local?

Most of the people I saw in local are hooked to their mobile phones and some are lost in their own thoughts. I'm just curious about possibility of finding a partner during regular travel in locals. Has it ever happened? If yes how?

    Need advice ...

Hey everyone, I’m a 20-year-old introvert who really wants to start dating, but I just can't seem to make it happen. Socializing is tough for me—I find it hard to open up, especially in front of girls. I’ve tried dating apps, but nothing really came out of it. Either I don’t get matches, or conversations just fizzle out. The thought of approaching someone in real life feels impossible. I overthink everything and end up saying nothing at all. Even when I do talk, I struggle to express myself properly....

Hey r/mumbai, I’m looking to change my hairstyle and want a barber who can recommend a cut that suits my face shape, hair type, and overall style. Ideally, I’d like someone experienced who doesn’t just follow trends but actually gives personalized suggestions. I’d appreciate recommendations for barbers/salons in Mumbai. Budget is flexible as long as the quality is worth it. Let me know your suggestions—bonus points if you’ve personally had a great experience! Thanks in advance.

    Events this weekend?

My son and I will be in Mumbai this weekend, tagging along with my husband who has a work event. Any suggestions for what we can do/see? I see there is the Da Vinci immersive - is that any good (we did the Van Gogh one, and were not floored). We will check out the NMACC, but any pointers on small, more niche events? Or anything else really that a 10-year-old might enjoy...
