I recently moved to Powai and decided to take a morning walk along the promenade by Powai Lake. I was shocked by what I saw—garbage everywhere and Ghutka stains all over the place. I walked the entire promenade hoping to find a cleaner section, but no luck. I had to leave quickly as the stench became unbearable. For a costal city like Mumbai having aqi above 250 consistently is a big achievement

Imagine having sea, winds still aqi over 250. If Mumbai would have been a land locked city like Delhi its aqi would have easily reached 500. This is the worst aqi for any coastal city in the world. Imagine paying taxes to breathe air like this.

I grew up in Mumbai but left the city some 20 years ago. I understand Mumbai was granted an Open Defecation Free (ODF) certificate in 2017. Does Mumbai continue to have a problem with open defecation? No blaming people, as it is mostly BMC’s fault.

I am so stressed about my resume - 2026 graduate. Please give me some advice.

I don’t have good projects, need to also learn AI/ML as I have chosen that elective, need to continue practicing DSA. On top of that 6th semester is also starting and placement cell has started asking for our resumes.
