Hope for a home

I recently moved to Mumbai and while I'm renting rn, I was just shocked to see how expensive houses in Mumbai are. I'd like to believe I make good salary (~3 L after tax) and even I can't see myself ever being able to buy a 2 bhk in decent space closer to my office (Mahalaxmi) or even away from it. Who even is buying homes in Mumbai these days 🥲
