Has anyone decoded the cannons at Elephanta islands

It’s on a rotating platform with multiple rooms and shafts below to assist in seamless firing There are tunnels and remnant of surface infrastructure that show depth. Anyone’s got literature on the gun? Maps of tunnels of elephanta? ( i largely suspect both cannons are connected ) Maybe organise a bold group who’s not scared of bats and other crawlies to explore this ?? Or am I exalting an old lovers den?
