• Uncle Sherlock of Mumbai Local

So when I was climbing at the local today, there was an insane rush. No shock, right? But then I saw this guy whose phone was in his back pocket, half exposed. Like, all it would take is a small push, and you could say goodbye to it. Being the 'Good Samaritan,' I asked a guy if he was the one who had kept his phone in his back pocket since I saw it was almost falling out. Turns out, he wasn’t the same person. They started joking about it and got a good laugh out of the situation. But then this Sherlock Uncle kept staring at my face with an "I know it all" look for a solid 15 seconds—literally maintaining full eye contact—enough for me to check if he was looking at something behind me. Then, in his infinite wisdom, he said, "Tu tha na." Like, bro, what? This guy just assumed I was a thief! To add to the horror, everyone around gave me a serious look. Mind you, I am a college going Student and I was wearing proper formals and had a laptop in my bag. What kind of thief goes to robbing like it's 9 to 5 . I just laughed and said, "Aise kya dekh rahe ho? Idhar mere bag Mai laptop hai mai kyu karunga yeh sab" . Then the situation died down. But man, I’m never giving unwanted advice again. ---
