Need inputs from Santacruz/ Vile Parle folks or anyone else for that matter.

Hi folks, it may appear random but didn't know where else I can ask this question. So I've been house hunting for quite a few months, and recently have come across a few properties in Santacruz that I am considering. These flats are near the airport funnel zone I believe. I know this likely means that it's not an easy area for buildings to go under redevelopment. I've tried searching for news but haven't found anything except for a news around a Congress MP demanding these areas to be classified as 'infrastucture affected', not sure what that means. My question is to anyone residing in Santacruz west, Vile Parle west area to shed some challenges the airport poses (apart from the noise obviously) and if there is anything I should look into or be aware of before putting my lives savings in this flat.
