A bastard killed my neighbor

This incident happened yesterday around 6 a.m. when my elderly neighbor (in his 80s) went for his morning walk at Malad, Mindspace. A man riding a Bullet bike struck him with such force that one side of his skull was crushed, he suffered broken ribs, multiple fractures, and internal bleeding. Bystanders rushed to his aid, apprehended the motorcyclist, and forced him to take my neighbor to a hospital in a rickshaw. My neighbor was admitted to the ICU and is currently on a ventilator (ventilator will be turned off today) The motorcyclist's statements have been inconsistent, and he is currently roaming free. We requested CCTV footage from the police, but they claim the cameras were not functioning at the time of the incident. Worst mistake we did was to give that picture of the number plate. Only after they got the number plate the police kept on making excuses of about the CCTV footage This was a hit-and-run case. The rickshaw driver told us that the culprit abandoned my neighbor at the hospital entrance before leaving, and when we arrived at the police station, the culprit was not present. Interestingly, when the police brought the rickshaw driver to give his statement, the driver claimed that the motorcyclist had taken my neighbor inside the hospital and assisted him. Uncle and aunty were both living alone and their son had also passed away. If anyone witnessed this event or can provide assistance in resolving this situation, please message me
