Love dirt and grease

I cleaned and lubed my bike chain today, and by the end of it, my hands were covered in dirt and oil. And I loved it. It might sound odd, but there’s something deeply satisfying about that grime. It takes me back to my childhood, assisting my dad as he worked on his Rajdoot motorcycle. He’s a retired mechanical engineer, and I’ve inherited his love for fixing things and his obsession with machines. That mix of oil and dirt? It’s more than just mess. It’s proof of work done, of problems solved, of time well spent. It’s a badge of honor.
