Help me find a bike

Hello All, I am planning to gift my husband a bike and I am honestly confused, I am not good with automobiles so came here to get some help.. I tried to gather some info from my husband and he says he wants 'road bikes'.. Every bikes I have showed him so far are from Jawa, RC, Yezdi and so on, he says they are all cruise bikes, I don't even know what that means, but I want to ensure I pick a bike which blows his mind when I surprise him. My budget is 2L to 3L and I reside in Bangalore. Any suggestion will really be appreciated, I am planning to gift in June as its his birthday month.
