Ganoji Shirke really a traitor?

Recently I have seen a interview of Ganoji Shirke’s descendants, they are claiming shirke never betrayed Chhatrapati by any means , there is not any historical evidence regarding Ganoji Shirke back stabbed chhatrapati sambhaji maharaj , all this falls narratives were taken from malhar ramrao chitnis bakhar and chhava novel which is indeed a novel it is not a history , chhatrapati sambhaji was betrayed by 1 of his employee (karkun) we need to find it out Can someone have clear authentic information about this ? was ganoji is real traitor or someone else?
