Will this Macbook be capable of running VSCode?

I just ordered this today: Apple - MacBook Air 13-inch Apple M2 chip Built for Apple Intelligence - 16GB Memory - 256GB SSD - Midnight I need it to be able to run VSCode with Docker. I have a Mac Mini from 2015 I think and it is unbelievably slow. To be fair I do have quite a bit of stuff installed on it such as Logic Pro and Corel Painter. But even before I installed all that stuff the Mac Mini was pretty slow. But now it takes like 10 minutes just to even open VSCode let alone actually trying to program anything.
