Properly Reset My Mac

My macbook pro (2019) is beginning to get old and I want everything on it gone so I can start fresh. I already tried the default factory reset but it didn't make it faster or anything. If someone knows how to make it like no one has ever touched this mac before (except for the battery of course), I'd gladly like the advice. And if it's not possible, why?
