Multiple iCloud for Multiple Users - Mac

I am going to buy a new Mac that will be shared by me and another family member. We both have our own Macbook Pros and iPads thus own iCloud accounts. I know you can create multiple users on Mac but can multiple users use their own iCloud account for their profile?
