Maddening Mac OS Quick Keys...

***Save me from going crazy(er)!*** I just upgraded to MacOS Sequoia. I am a graphic artist and use built-in quick keys and an extended keyboard for various functions in Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc). I find that I can ***not*** override the *system* quick keys in favor of the ones in these programs which I use every day. I have gone thru system settings and must be missing something... Here’s one example: **F7**. F7 normally handles layers in CS softwares. But apparently not. I went thru ***all*** of the system quick keys and did not see that one to modify, tho a advanced search said that that is used for system audio. Got any ideas? I am hoping it’s something simple I overlooked. Thanks in advance!
