How to Restrict Stage Manager to the Main Display on MacBook Pro?

I use Stage Manager on my MacBook Pro, which is connected to two vertical external monitors. I prefer Stage Manager to work only on my MacBook Pro’s main display, as I need the windows on my external monitors to remain open at all times. Is there a way to configure this? I understand that I can maximize the window to keep it always visible on the external screen, but the issue is that maximizing the window causes the app to occupy the entire screen.
