Can’t access external hard drive files in finder

Hi! Hoping someone can help me. My dog passed yesterday so I grabbed my external hard drive to find some photos of him and I can’t access it. This is what is showing in disk utility. I’m not too familiar with this kind of stuff so I was hoping someone could help because there are a ton of important photos on here. I have searched for other reddit posts but didn’t find one with this specific problem. I already tried restarting my mac, switching the cable it’s plugged into, clicking mount and using first aid but nothing worked. Thank you.
