WindowServer still buggy on M Chips?
There are still recent posts from users complaining about the WindowServer process, especially on M chips. I’m also using an M2 Mac Mini with a 4K Samsung display (HDMI) and experiencing the following: * The process consistently consumes 10–30% CPU. While this might not noticeably affect performance, wear and energy consumption are still concerns. * The process uses between 500 MB and 4 GB (!) of RAM. Whenever SWAP is being used, I notice a significant slowdown. * Resetting the system hasn’t resolved the issue. Does anyone have a solution or suggestion? Personally i couln'd find any solution after searching for an eternity.....1
