Storage workflow question
I've been trying to figure out my storage workflow. Im not sure if this should be posted here or in some other subreddit. Please let me know if there's a more appropriate sub for this query Anyway, some background: im a ui designer and freelance photographer. I do some video content from time to time, but my main projects are in design and photography I want to streamline my storage flow as right now it's just a bunch of hard drives attached to my mac + google drive My design / dev files are set (i think) as those live in a development directory and each project has a git repo in github It's the photography, video, documents (currently in google drive), and graphic (illustrator, photoshop) files i dont know how to simplify I have a mac mini with 256gigs of storage I was thinking to get: - a 2TB ssd as a current project drive - back this project drive to another external drive daily - get a DAS for long term archive - have a NAS backup the DAS - have backblaze all the drives attached to the mac But, where do i store my personal documents, assets like graphics, audio clips, stock footage? Another single hdd external drive solely for this purpose? I feel like what i have in mind is a bit messy and can be simplified further Any suggestions? Thank you 🙏🏽 - Nick4
