Need help in configuring the dock appearance

Hello all, I am fairly new to Mac/macOS and was watching a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx7t1GjcjX0) on YouTube about MacBooks and I came across a video where the youtuber shows what's on her MacBook in a portion of the video. Her dock is hidden, but unlike the default hidden dock behavior, where the dock doesn't appear before hitting the edge of the side where the dock is hidden. her dock starts to appear before hitting the edge of the right side. (See between 11:34 to 11:38). I know there are some terminal commands we can use to remove the delays and animation but even after using them, we have to go all the way to the edge of the side for the dock to appear. Does anyone here know what configuration she might have used to make the dock appear before hitting the edge of the side? I really appreciate any help you can provide.
