Street dogs menace in my locality

Guys ! I live in gaurabagh region which comes in kalyanpur(west) and we are facing a problem from street dogs from quite a time. Therefore, I would like to ask from my fellow Lucknowites , how can I get rid of them legally ? Because the inhumane way that's coming to mind is to kill them by giving them some kind of poison but executing this plan is too much for me and also there is a good chance of getting into trouble by the people that consider themselves animal lover and in this scenario the dog lovers. Not to forget the fucking laws. Some dog(s) among them have bitten people and my niece also became a victim of those today.
