Buying a Used Bike Without Parents Knowing – Need Advice!

Hey everyone, I’m a 2nd-year degree student, and I really need a bike for my daily routine. The problem? My parents are completely against it and won’t allow me to have one. I’ve saved up my own money and found a good used bike, but I’m stuck on one major issue—the RC book. If the RC gets delivered to my house, it’s going to cause a huge problem. I recently heard that from March 1st onwards, RCs will only be virtual—does anyone have more info on this? If that’s true, it would solve a lot of my problems. Some of my friends are willing to register the bike in their name, but I feel like that could be risky for them (since technically, the bike wouldn’t be mine). I don’t want to put them in a difficult situation. Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any legal loopholes or suggestions that won’t get me (or my friends) into trouble? Would appreciate any advice!
