Any updates on Newborn hurled to death case?

The post was part of a marketing campaign for a reputed brand in Kochi. For context she was granted bail in July last year, after she alleged that she was r*ped. From what I've learnt from sources, her father is an influential man and has a team of lawyers advising them on how to hush up the situation. After the initial outbreak on social media and news channels. There seems to be no talk about the case and everyone seems to have forgotten about it. What I'm concerned about is, how the wealthy/ influential can do whatever the fuck they want and get away with it. Abusing the justice system in this country through loopholes. Had this been someone from a less fortunate backgrounds, they would be rotting behind bars rn. Any updates on the case development would be welcome.
