Gents hostel near thammanam ?

I'm working in kakkanad but my gf stays in pallimukku for a course. I plan to shift somewhere in midst of both places so I that Im not that far from her nor far from workplace. A good location that I found is thammanam. I would appreciate if you could share any leads of any such hostel / pg accommodation in such locations.
