Best bus option for Kochi to Muvattupuzha

Hello All, I stay at Kakkanad and want to travel from Ernakulam to Muvattupuzha by bus. What is the best option for this? I understand there are KSRTC buses from Ernakulam South Stand (is this the one at C P Ummer Road, Shenoys as per Google?) to Muvattupuzha. Which would be the nearest Metro Station to get to this stand? I also saw online there might be buses from Thrippunithura (Private?) Bus Stand to Muvattupuzha as well. Is the also an option? If there's anyone who does this route and can confirm the better option or any other options please? Thanks in advance!
