Any new year night spots except Fort Kochi carnival?

Hey everyone, new to kerala here! I’m aware that the biggest event happening for new years in Kochi is at Fort Kochi, However, I’ve been told the crowd is too much and ruins the experience. I’m not sure how true this is but i don’t wanna take my chances. It would be really helpful if you guys can suggest some other spots to spend the new years night in a less congested way! Any gigs, events, activities and restaurants are welcome! Thank you :)
