Help needed in selection of home curtains

Hey everyone, Recently purchased a resale home. Looking for curtains but I am not sure which one to buy. Should I go with blind curtains or normal clothing curtains. I don’t know who to consult but wanted to make sure that the money I am spending is totally worth. There are 6 windows.
