[Hiring] - CAD & Supply Chain Tech - Kolkata

Looking to hire a remote Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Supply Chain technician who can work with Solidworks/Autodesk Fusion based around the Greater Kolkata area. Position is fully remote. The person will work their own hours as long as the work assigned is complete on schedule. The chosen candidate will be required to attend meetings with occasional travel as needed. Job Requirements: - Ability to read 2D engineering drawings, technical concept sketches, visualize open source images and generate 3D CAD files - Familiar with part design and assembly design with emphasis on design for manufacturability - Occasionally travel to exhibitions, trade shows, industry conferences to gather ideas and represent company and it's products - Purchase components and ship products as needed - Knowledge of solidworks, autocad Characteristics for a successful candidate: - Willingness to learn new technologies, concepts, and thinking out of the box - Time management - Professional Communication and interpersonal skills Educational qualifications: No formal educational qualifications required as long as the following criteria are met: - The candidate must have a portfolio of past projects - The candidate is able to professionally communicate both in-person and ober email, social media, text and video - The candidate is able to negotiate with suppliers - The candidate is able to pass interviews and work Note: The interview will consist of one video interview, take home CAD model test, followed by a final video CAD model interview.
