Rant on Indian education system

Jee and neet,these are the target of 90% of students who just passed 10th standard and took science stream and 99% of students who likes to study. But why is there no interest in pure science and maths and why is it so hard to find good colleges for those 1% who are interested. There are many prestigious engineering institutes in india but not much for pure science and maths. Now India has very large number of qualified engineers who are unemployed due to a large no of overqualified engineer. I think india will be changed if there is more interest and college and investment for science and maths.
