Regret Helping a Delivery Partner – A Cautionary Tale

I had ordered Soya Bean Oil and White Til (500 gm) from JIO MART today, but during the delivery, I noticed the quantity of White Til was incorrect – I received only 100 gm instead of 500 gm. When I raised this with the delivery executive, he requested the OTP to complete the delivery, saying he was short on time and promised to deliver the replacement later. Wanting to help him out, I trusted his word and gave him the OTP. Waited for 6 hours and then called him in night, to my suprise he refused to deliver the replacement, saying he’d only do it if he ever got another order nearby. I am very much okay loosing 100-200 rupees but feeling of getting cheated while trying to be empathetic of his situation is making me feel sad. I called him and told him ki bhai 100-200 ruppaye ke liye mat karo if you are in need mang lo I'll UPI but don't break trust.
