Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan Joins Ripple Advisory

Raghuram Rajan, the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, has joined Ripple’s advisory board. Ripple is a company that uses blockchain technology to facilitate faster and more efficient international money transfers. Rajan will provide guidance on regulatory and financial matters, especially concerning Ripple’s new digital currency, RLUSD, which is a cryptocurrency designed to maintain a stable value pegged to the dollar. Ripple USD recently recieved regulatory approval from New York Department of Financial Services.
