Yay or Nay?

Instead of throwing the garland, I used them to decorate here, it'll work as decoration for 2-3 days and then will turn into a good soil compost. Is it yay or nay? Can I do this everytime instead of throwing garlands? (ofc, reduced them to half after posting hehe) Om Namah Shivay 🕉🔱❤️
