Seeking refuge in bhakti for panic disorder/anxiety
Namaste! 30M from Hyderabad, India. I am struggling with panic disorder and frequent anxiety attacks, some phobias. This has started to impact my everyday life where I cannot do certain things or be in certain situations without having panic attacks. I have tried therapy for a while, and it seemed to help, but somehow knowing too much about what we are going through weirdly makes it worse sometimes. I stopped therapy but I am continuing to work on therapy concepts, like exposure therapy, by myself. I started doing Hanuman Chalisa once every day in the evening, sitting in my puja room, looking at Lord Hanuman's photo. Is there anything you would recommend that I do puja/jap/bhakti wise to help me with my troubles? Thanks in advance! Jai Shree Ram!4
